- You're probably wondering who I am, right? I'm Cerin's assistant. He's an inspiring researcher. We're studying artifacts from Serenity Temple. You probably know how prestigious that is.
- Serenity Temple? What's that?
- Or, maybe you don't know. Serenity Temple down there in the Brand is not much more than a bunch of scattered rocks now, but those rocks hold amazing treasures from Ascalon's past.
- I see. Good luck in your endeavors.
- Nice to meet you.
- While collecting artifacts
- I can't wait to see what we discover! Serenity Temple is a cornucopia of historical knowledge.
- Is this an excavation?
- This is one of our most important excavations. We hope to find artifacts and knowledge beyond anyone's imagining. Upon this the seat of power,[sic]Ascalonians once held spectacular gatherings.
- What kind of gatherings?
- They performed rituals, dancing and wearing masks to honor their gods, and celebrating their successes. Oh, I wish I'd been around in those days. Preserved records indicate it was breathtaking.
- It doesn't look like much now.
- It has become a symbol of hope, endurance and humility. It may not look pretty anymore, but we're here, studying the land and the people who settled it. I think that says something, don't you?
- I suppose.
- I'm glad you're excited.
