Sotzz the Scallywag is a champion asura that can be found hiding in one of the several hundred Suspicious Barrels scattered across Gendarran Fields. If he's been selected as a bounty, your guild can begin destroying barrels until you locate him. After most of the barrels have been opened, he'll leave his hiding place and can be found much more easily. However, if he remains out in the open for over a minute; he will disappear, all of the barrels will reset, and your guild must restart the search.[1] Once he's been located, an authorized guild member can speak with him to begin the encounter.

- Liquid Fortification - Sotzz will periodically create a non-damaging, point-blank area of effect field at his location. While standing inside the field, he gains Liquid Fortification, an effect that grants immunity to conditions and significantly reduces damage taken. Players must coordinate the use of control skills to first remove Sotzz's stacks of defiant and then knockback, launch, or pull him out of his field, otherwise he'll take too long to defeat and escape capture.
- Grapeshot - Frontal area of effect projectile auto-attack that can hit multiple times, dealing a small amount of damage and poisoning for 3 seconds with each hit.
- Pistol Storm - Channeled point-blank area of effect attack that fires projectiles in all directions. This skill is capable of hitting a single target up to 10 times.
