Utility items are consumables that grant a utility enhancement effect when consumed. Only one utility item enhancement and one food nourishment can be active at a time.

Utility items are divided into the following categories:

• Sharpening stones, crafted by the crafting discipline Weaponsmith, converts stats into Power or Ferocity.
• Maintenance oils, crafted by the crafting discipline Huntsman, converts stats into Concentration or Healing power.
• Tuning crystals, crafted by the crafting discipline Artificer, converts stats into Condition Damage or Expertise.
• Slayer potions, crafted by the crafting discipline Artificer, help fighting a specific type of enemies by increasing outgoing damage and decreasing incoming damage.
• Writs and Theses, crafted by the guild crafting discipline Scribe, increase either Power, Precision or Condition Damage when the players health is above 90%, increases Movement Speed.

Conversion ratio

Attribute points are converted in the following ratios:

• 3% - Power, Precision, Toughness, Vitality
• 6% - Condition Damage, Ferocity, Healing power
• 8% - Concentration, Expertise

For example, a Superior Sharpening Stone will convert 3% of your precision and 6% of your Ferocity into Power. Utility items that convert Power, Precision, Toughness and/or Vitality will always give a minimum of 30 points to the attribute they are being converted to.

Basic utility items

• Basic utility items can be crafted without purchasing any recipe and increase an offensive attribute based on Precision and one of: Ferocity, Healing Power, or Expertise.
