Artificer

Artificer is a crafting discipline that focuses on magical weapons such as foci, scepters, staves, and tridents. These are useful to guardians, elementalists, mesmers, revenants, daredevils, and necromancers. Artificers also craft sigils, potions, tonics, and nourishment that can be used by any profession. Crafting requires the use of a crafting station.

Master artificers

Speak to any of these NPCs to become an artificer and to buy crafting supplies. Swapping active disciplines costs 10 per level already attained in the target discipline.

Inscriptions

Inscriptions are a component used in the crafting of weapons. The specific inscription used will determine the prefix, and thus attributes, of a weapon.

Tuning crystals increase Condition Damage based on toughness and, with higher quality, also on vitality.
