Glint

Glint is a powerful oracle dragon of ancient times that is able to read the minds of those around her and is said by many to be the first creature created by the Six Human Gods. However, all that is known about Glint comes from herself and it has been stated that she has her reasons for saying what she has. Her most notable actions were compiling the Flameseeker Prophecies and guiding the Ascended heroes of Ascalon when they saw those prophecies to completion. She is presumed to have many children, the first known having hatched around the time of the downfall of the Great Destroyer. During the time of these events, Glint was said to have kept her lair hidden within a single grain of sand in the Crystal Desert, though it is actually hidden by illusionary magic.

It was later revealed that Glint was originally the champion of the Elder Dragon Kralkatorrik. Created with the goal of protecting her master in its long slumber, Glint had been given the ability of entering the minds of Kralkatorrik's enemies; such powers resulted her to feel empathy and eventually sympathy for the civilizations of Tyria. Turning against Kralkatorrik, Glint hid in the Crystal Desert and used her powers to become an oracle, thus guiding both humanity and the Forgotten.

In 1320 AE, Glint was sought by Destiny's Edge, who were led to believe the ancient being was still loyal to her former master. After a short fight, the dragon explains the truth to Destiny's Edge and joins them in an attempt to defeat the recently reawakened Kralkatorrik. The attempt fails, though, and Glint is killed by the Elder Dragon. The fate of her offspring is currently unknown.
