— Taimi

Taimi is an ambitious asura progeny studying at the College of Synergetics. An apprentice of the renowned golemancer Zojja, she rides into battle on a great golem named Scruffy. She shows an intense interest in Scarlet Briar and hopes to meet with her.

Taimi was first seen in-game at Marionette's Landing in Lornar's Pass, claiming to be on an important field experiment for her college. After the defeat of the Twisted Marionette Logan Thackeray took her to Lion's Arch, where she claimed Braham was her guardian (although the norn denies ever meeting her) and she has made several attempts to get him to take her back to Rata Sum.

Yes! This is Scarlet's work! I'd lay my reputation on it. Oh, we're close. She can't be far away. Do you think we'll get to see her? Maybe meet her? I'd like that. Wouldn't you?

What do you think she's up to?

She's testing her aethercannon, obviously. She's summoned her peripheral units to come sacrifice their energy cells to her weapon. If she manages to get it powered up, it'll most likely kill us all.

Why do you think she's calling in the additional troops?

To defend those energy fields until her watchwork minions can reach them and power up her weapon, of course. She's really quite clever.

You know she's a homicidal maniac, right?

I know! But that doesn't make her any less of an engineer. I could learn so much from her. Genius comes in many colors, you know?

• Taimi is a Finnish word for seedling and a Māori word for time.
• She was introduced with the Tuesday, 21 January 2014 update
• She is voiced by Debi Derryberry, who also voiced characters in Wreck-It Ralph. In addition, there are many similarities between Taimi and Vanellope von Schweetz, a character in that film, e.g. both characters are short, both suffer from some type of handicap, and the dialogue during A Moment's Peace parallels parts of the film.
