== Trivia ==
* This zone was introduced in parts during the [[release]]s [[Echoes of the Past]], [[Tangled Paths]] and [[Seeds of Truth]].
* The name Silverwastes likely refers to the ''[[Guild Wars]]'' zone [[gww:Silverwood|Silverwood]], which was located in the same area of the [[gww:Maguuma Jungle|Maguuma Jungle]]. Silverwood used to be a lush jungle area populated by [[centaurs]], but similarly to the rest of [[Maguuma Wastes]] it has undergone significant desertification since the events of ''Guild Wars''.
