A Black Lion Chest is a consumable that, when used with a Black Lion Chest Key, yields three items. Many items within are also available in the Gem Store, though some rare items are exclusive to the chest. Most items are account bound.
When activated, a Black Lion Chest window opens which allows to combine chests and keys to draw items.

Each Black Lion Chest contains 2 randomly selected items from the below list, as well as one randomly selected booster. It is possible to receive two of the same item, including two stacks of the same item, if that item drops in stacks of more than one.

Specific tonics[править]
Prior to the 25 September 2012 update, every drop included three vials of one of the following tonics: Boar, Blue Moa, Devourer, Eagle, Eagle Raptor, Floater, Golemite, Ice Elemental, Imp, Jackalope, Krait, Minotaur, Plant Wolf, Ooze, Owl, Pig, Pink Moa, Ram, Skale, Snake, Leopard, Snow Leopard, Snow Owl, Stag, Steam Ogre.
Trivia[править]
- The contents were first updated in the 25 September 2012 update, which added additional items and replaced random tonics with Mystery Tonics and its endless version.
- Self-Style Hair Kit and Total Makeover Kit were added as rare drops in the 3 December 2012 update.
- Prior to the June 3, 2014 update, chests were split into locked and unlocked items. Using a key converted the former into the latter which served as a container.
- Prior to the February 18, 2014 update, unlocked chests were soulbound on acquire. This patch saw this item made account bound at the request of players.
- The Permanent Hair Stylist Contract was added on 29 July 2014.
