The Flaming Beacon is a blazing, stylized torch whose flame never falters.
At some point, one came into the possession of the Ascendant who defeated the Great Destroyer, and was subsequently placed in the Hall of Monuments, where it has been guarded by the Ascalonian ghosts there ever since. There, it waits for a hero worthy of its power.

- Kimmes the Historian at Far Shiverpeaks in Eye of the North, for 0 . You must be a player of the original Guild Wars and have acquired at least 26 Hall of Monuments reward points.
