- Jackdaw Pirate: "We'll let you go, you little whiner-just as soon as your rich daddy forks over the ransom."
- Miss Mipp: "Psst. Tholaun. Can I tell you a secret?"
- Tholaun: "You can tell me anything."
- Miss Mipp: "I was really scared, Tholaun. I tried to be a brave norn, but those pirates were mean!"
