Moletariate

The moletariate is the government body of the dredge people. It was established by Commissar Molenin shortly after the dredge's freedom from Stone Summit slavery. The moletariate led the people over the ages into xenophobic lifestyles, slowly becoming corrupt themselves and sending the dredge commoners into constant heavy labor. They lead the dredge from Sorrow's Embrace.

In 1325 AE, the moletariate's corruption cultivated into an alliance with the Inquest, spear-headed by War Minister Shukov and his generals. Shukov intended to use this alliance in order to bring about a "New Era" he referred to as "the great opening of the world for the dredge people" and conquer the norn, charr, and humans. This in turn led to a civil war within the dredge leadership, resulting in Shukov and his generals' deaths. The state of the moletariate after Shukov's death is unknown, however there are mentions of the moletariate's involvement with the Molten Alliance.
