Gw1:Titan
Titans are demonic constructs created in the Foundry of Failed Creations. They seem to adapt to the terrain they are in; becoming fire-based in volcanic areas, ice-based in snowy landscapes, plant-like in tropical weather and demonic in the Realm of Torment. Although the titans usually have a unique three-legged shape, the lesser titans spawned from them will resemble other creatures. Titans obey the bearer of the Scepter of Orr.
Two hundred years before the Searing, a titan (presumably Saevio Proelium) was found in the volcano Hrangmer by the Burnt Warband of the charr and was brought back as a god. Since then, the Shaman caste had led the charr to worship the titans and in turn the titans gave them the Cauldron of Cataclysm and the orders to invade all three human Tyrian kingdoms. This was done under the order of Abaddon. The titans, or their home, is also the "flame" which is spoken of in the Flameseeker Prophecies and is what the Flameseeker seeks (hence the name).

Notes[править]
- In normal mode, if there are both level 24 and level 28 versions of a specific type of titan, slain titans will spawn the higher level version rather than the lower level version.
- Titans spawned from other slain titans will not yield drops, but will give experience points.
- With the exception of chests, only titan creatures can drop Magmas Arms and Magmas Shields.
- Titans exclusive to Guild Wars Nightfall are considered "demonic servants of Abaddon" by Lightbringer skills; however, titans are not considered demons by weapons of Demonslaying.
- Although they are all the same type of creature from a lore perspective, from a game mechanics perspective, Prophecies titans have no type set, and are divided into at least three affiliations. Titans which appear in Prophecies are in one or more armies, Nightfall-exclusive titans outside the Domain of Anguish belong to a second army, and titans in the Domain of Anguish share an army with all other hostile Domain of Anguish creatures.
- Some titans leave exploitable corpses when they die, but most don't.
- Some titans can be knocked down, but many are immune to it.
- Titans found in the Ring of Fire Island Chain or that use Fire Magic are weak to cold damage and strong against fire damage. The reverse is true of Titans found during Defend Droknar's Forge. Titans encountered during Defend North Kryta Province and Defend Denravi are weak against fire damage. Madness Titans are weak to cold damage and strong against earth damage.
Trivia[править]
