Breaking the Blade это часть personal story за human character при выборе пути street rat после выполнения The Rescue или The Greater Good.

Objectives[править]

Пошаговое руководство[править]

Отправьтесь в Salma District и войдете в таверну, чтобы поговорить с Thackeray. Он объяснит вам, что Pete скорее всего вышлет за вами своих головорезов. Если вы сможете их сдерживать, то Pete сам выйдет разобраться с вами. Здесь нет таймера, вы сражаетесь с тремя волнами по три головореза у таверны. Если вам нужно выйти из боя, то пройдите в конец комнаты за стол.

Логан скроется до появления Two-Blade Pete, оставляя вас and Quinn (если он жив) для сражения. Либо Doc Howler или Crusher Dan будут вашими оппонентами (на 3 волне), с кем бы вы не сражались в предыдущей миссии. В особенности Doc Howler использует яд и кровотечение, так что если у вас много здоровья вам будет проще . Используйте свои способности для очищения от кондишенов, и подготовьте такие способности у которых есть blindness.

После поражения всех головорезов придет сам Pete и в бой вступит и Logan, тем не менее Логан здесь только для внешнего вида и морального духа, агрессию пита он сдерживать не будет. Дальняя атака Пита бьет очень больно и он достаточно часто ее использует , чаще уклоняйтесь и используете ослепление.Для окончания миссии победите Пита.

Citizen (2): Если ему все равно, то у него хорошо получается притворяться.

Villager: У меня был один стакан во время ужина. С тех пор не могу ничего держать.

Talking to Quinn:

Quinn: Вы готовы?Я понимаю, я знаю. Я готов. Правда готов. Мне просто интересно на счет вас. Готовность, имею в виду.

On the way to the tavern - If you chose The Greater Good:

Citizen (1): You hear about a guy called Quinn? A bit of a rascal.

Citizen (2): Never met him.

Citizen (1): Well, now you never will. He ratted out Two-Blade Pete. They found half of him in the fountain and half of him in the lake.

Villager: Two-Blade Pete killed the Hero of Shaemoor's friend. Those two are heading for a showdown.

Approaching Logan Thackeray:

Logan Thackeray: You and Petra should hide upstairs. Things might get rough and I don't want to see you getting hurt.

Dialogue with Logan:

Logan Thackeray: (If did The Rescue) Two-Blade Pete will be here soon. Are you ready?

I'm ready. It's time to teach him a permanent lesson.

But I see your friend is safe, thank Dwayna. The Seraph managed to stop the bandits, but some poison still got into the well.

He's fine and we're both ready for a little vengeance.

That's what I like to hear. Now let's use Two-Blade's arrogance against him. He wants our heads for ruining his schemes at the well.

I'm ready. What's the plan?

Two-Blade's sending thugs to do his dirty work, but I know him. He'll be close by to watch his victory. Hold off the thugs long enough and he'll come to finish the job himself.

What about you?

Don't worry. When Two-Blade shows his ugly face, I'll ambush him. He won't stand a chance against our combined strength.

I trust your judgment. Let's get started.

So I'm bait, and you're the hammer. I hope you jump in before it's too late!

It's dangerous, but it's the only way to draw out Two-Blade. Don't worry. I give you my word: on the life of the queen, I won't let you down.

Are the villagers ok?

They'll be fine in a few days. We stopped most of the poison, so it was a small dose. Now are you ready to take on Two-Blade Pete?

The fact that Quinn is safe is success enough for me.

Riot Alice: What are you doing here? Don't you know Pete's on his way here to kill you?

<Character name>: I'm counting on it.

Riot Alice: Always the brave one. Listen, I took your advice and I'm getting out.

Riot Alice: Don't do something stupid like getting yourself killed before I have a chance to thank you properly.

<Character name>: Don't worry. I'll deal with Pete. We'll see each other again after this is all over.

Riot Alice: I'm going to hold you to that.

Talking to Quinn during fight:

Quinn: Watch it! These guys aren't done yet. Keep your eye on the fight!

You got it.

Cinematic with Pete:

Two-Blade Pete: You think you're smarter than Pete, do ya? Think you hurt me? Let me tell you something.

<Character name>: Better men than you have tried.

Two-Blade Pete: Tried and failed? Look, kid. I'm not easily intimi-

<Character name>: Tried and died.

Two-Blade Pete: Huh. Maybe I underestimated you.

Logan Thackeray: More than you know. Prison's full, Pete. Let's skip the trial and go straight to the execution.

After killing Pete, if The Rescue was completed:

Quinn: We are so good.

Quinn cheers for <Character name>.

Cinematic after defeating Two-Blade Pete:

If The Rescue was completed:

Logan Thackeray: Very impressive. You've stopped Two-Blade Pete and run his bandits out of Divinity's Reach.

<Character name>: Thanks. I'm just glad that Pete won't hurt anyone, ever again.

Logan Thackeray: Enjoy your victory. I'll be in touch with you again soon. The Seraph can always use a friend they can trust.

Quinn: Woo hoo! We win!

Logan Thackeray: So, Quinn. Seeing as you've committed multiple crimes against the city...

Quinn: Lyssa's locks! Not prison!

Logan Thackeray: But you did help the Seraph, too. I guess I can look the other way—this one time.

Quinn: Thanks, Captain. I'll stay out of trouble, I promise.

<Character name>: You'd better. I won't always be around to help you out.

Quinn: You saved my life, and I owe you one. I won't forget it.

<Character name>: Hey. That's what friends do. See you around, Quinn.

If The Greater Good was completed:

Logan Thackeray: Very impressive, my friend. You've stopped Two-Blade Pete and run his bandits out of Divinity's Reach.

<Character name>: Thanks. I'm just glad that Pete is out of business. Permanently.

Logan Thackeray: I'm sorry about your friend, but your work here saved many lives. I'll see to it that the queen hears of your valor... and Quinn's sacrifice.

<Character name>: Bragging to the queen? Yeah. I think Quinn would have liked that.

Logan Thackeray: I'll be in touch with you again soon. The Seraph can always use a friend they can trust.

<Character name>: I'll be ready. Thanks, Captain.

After the cinematic, if The Greater Good was completed:

Logan Thackeray: Well, Pete's gone and you're back. I'd say the streets just got a lot safer...and more hygienic.

Talking to NPCs at the end

Logan Thackeray: Well done! Now Two-Blade Pete is nothing more than a bad memory.

A lot of vicious punks are waiting to take his place. I'd like to give them what Two-Blade got.

If you're serious, I'd like to take you up on that. Unofficially, of course. I need more friends like you, who know how to get a job done. What do you say?

Are you kidding? Me, friends with the Captain of the Seraph? I'd be honored.

Yeah, that too. But I'm sure I'll be safe. Who would mess with me now? I mean, my best friend's a hero!

Petra: That was amazing! You're amazing!

Petra! Were you watching the whole time? You could have been hurt.

Oh, bah. Two-Blade was too busy fighting you to see me peeking in. You really are a hero. I'm going to tell everybody!

It'll be nice to be thought of as more than just another kid from the streets.

You're a lot more than that. You're the hero of Shaemoor, the bane of Two-Blade Pete!

Captain Thackeray and I set a trap for Two-Blade Pete-and I was the bait. I fought Pete's gang members until Pete arrived. When he did, Thackeray and the Seraph ambushed him. Together, Logan and I put an end to Two-Blade Pete and his gang.
