One of the best parts about an expansion release is getting to use a new weapon and weapon skills from elite specializations. Up until now, you could only equip each elite specialization’s weapon by locking yourself into that elite specialization’s trait line. But what if you could charge into the fray as a hammer-wielding holosmith or control the battlefield as a firebrand with a longbow?

Official site

Weaponmaster Training is an account-wide feature that provides access to elite specialization weapons for each profession without having the corresponding elite specialization equipped or trained.[1] It requires that players own the Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure expansion. After unlocking it, characters are granted access to weapons previously restricted to the elite specializations, even if the account doesn't own the respective expansions. The expansions are still required to make use of the elite specializations' trait lines. Beyond requiring at least one level 80 character to unlock the feature via the related story, it's also level-restricted and can't be used on characters below level 80.

Unlocking[править]

The player will receive a letter in the mail from Frode early on in the third chapter of Secrets of the Obscure story, Mother of Stars. Speak with Frode in the Beacon of Ages Command Center to unlock Weaponmaster Training account-wide.
