Отправляйтесь в Durmand Priory (монастырь Дурманд), и снова войдите в секретную библиотеку, поговорив с Seimur Oxbone (Семуром Оксбоуном). Оказавшись внутри, найдите Марджори и спуститесь по винтовой лестнице к Огдену. После разговора с ним, подсветятся несколько книг в центральной части Специального хранилища. Разыщите книгу Fire of the Gods (Пламя богов) в юго-западной части библиотеки и вернитесь к Огдену. Он отправит вас собрать три артефакта, связанных с Тураем Оссой. Это будут: Faded Map (полинявшая карта) рядом с Огденом, Elonian Basket (элонианская корзинка) на юге библиотеки и Journal of Lord Valodor (дневник лорда Валодора) на верхней полке в западной части библиотеки. Вернитесь к Огдену, чтобы он провел ритуал.
Когда появится отголосок Турая Оссы, вам придется пройти испытания для Вознесения (Ascension). В первом испытании вам придется защищать Турая Оссу и его трон. Во втором - победить шесть групп врагов. После этого, спуститесь в колодец, чтобы получить эффект 
Purified (очищенный). Это снизит урон, который вы будете получать во время третьего испытания. В третьем и последнем испытании вам придется собрать три криталла Видения и принести их отголоску Турая Оссы. Обратите внимание, что когда по вам попадают, это прерывает процесс сбора кристалла, поэтому прежде, чем собирать кристаллы, избавьтесь ото всех врагов.
После прохождения всех трех испытаний, заберите факел и поговорите с Огденом, чтобы завершить главу.
При желании, до разговора с Огденом вы можете осмотреть Old Mirror (старое зеркало). Это приведет к появлению с доппельгангера, сражение с которым, в Guild Wars являлось четвертым испытанием на пути к Вознесению.

- Let's see... Yes. It says you should "accompany the Ghostly Hero." Its words, not mine. One sec... It doesn't look like you fight it. The tome implies that you must work with the ghost...and protect it.

- The experience with the Echo of Turai Ossa hints to the process of Ascension in the original game.
- The core mechanisms of the trials are identical, and each trial corresponds to a mission in the crystal desert that was part of the test: Dunes of Despair was the first trial in the player had to protect the Ghostly Hero while he reclaimed his throne. In Thirsty River, the player had to fight off six enemy groups to reach the Rune Circle which allowed the Ghostly Hero to cleanse the player. And finally, in Elona Reach, the player had to collect the three vision crystals.
- The dialogue of the Echo of Turai Ossa is mostly identical to lines he said in the original game.
- The fight against the Doppelganger in the Old Mirror references the final test for becoming ascended in the Augury Rock mission.
