Players prepare a mantra they want to use (a 2{{3/4}} second cast time) which primes its activatable charges. Expending all of a mantra's charges will deactivate the mantra and place the skill on cooldown. While primed, a mantra will regenerate charges at a set rate. Mesmer mantras have two potent charges, while Firebrand mantras have up to three charges with an empowered final charge. Players can choose between expending their final charge or holding it to regenerate charges.
